Cosora was born with the mission to empower all individuals to take climate action into their own hands, without having to wait for corporate or governmental initiatives—which, more often than not, are far too little, far too late.
It had always been clear to us that the first step to reach such a goal was to provide the necessary tools for people to understand their impact, and to make them easy enough to use so that anyone could just jump in and begin their personal journey towards a healthier planet and society.

The Carbon Footprint Calculator is constantly updated with the latest scientific data, so our estimations might vary as new scientific findings are published. It's still virtually impossible to get perfectly accurate carbon footprint estimations—and whoever tells you different is being either unintentionally ignorant or purposely misleading—but that doesn't mean we can't strive to get the closest we can to true accuracy.
